Consolidation work for hydrogeological instability, the design was including the intervention in a high hydrogeological risk area, already involved on this type of phenomena. It was planned a remediation of the area and the implementation of a retaining wall
downhill of the area (to prevent the slumping) and also a retaining wall uphill of the area (to prevent the earth pressure). The area would eventually be consolidated through tension rod trenches.
